There's really no way to describe the feeling of launching a book into the world. It's exciting (thrilling, even), anxiety-ridden, hopeful, trepidatious, and proud all at once. Of course, all those conflicting emotional states leave one mostly puzzled, and asking, am I happy? Or terrified?
The official release date of Discovering Ren is December 18, 2012. I'd like to extend a huge thank-you to my wonderful publisher, Desiree Finkbeiner at Cogwheel Press, to my fellow Cogwheel authors, who have served as a trans-Atlantic cheering squad for the past six months, to my writing and critique partners who saw this thing from pipedream to polished draft, and of course to my friends and family who've put up with my idiosyncrasies for decades now.
